Catastrophe: Two die as house collapses in Parachinar

PARACHINAR: At least two teenage brothers died while their parents and sister were injured when their mud house in Boshehra village near Parachinar collapsed on Saturday morning. Officials privy to the development told The Express Tribune that Sardar Hussain, along with other family members, was asleep when the roof of their mud house collapsed.

As a result, the family was buried under the debris. Residents rushed to the site and they pulled out two teenage sons of Hussain. At the time, one of the boys was dead and while the other was injured.

Hussain, along with his wife and daughter, is admitted at the agency headquarters hospital in Parachinar. They were in stable condition. Hussain said his house was badly affected in recent rains. However, he was unable to repair the structure due to a lack of resources.
