ISLAMABAD: A man was killed in a firing incident within the Bhara Kahu police jurisdiction. Zohaib, 30, was returning home after visiting his sister’s house when unidentified persons opened fire on him and killed him on the spot, police said.

The victim sustained five bullets in different parts of his body. The body was shifted to Polyclinic for postmortem. The motive behind the killing could not be ascertained immediately.

Meanwhile, at least four persons were booked for allegedly killing a man within the Saddar Bairuni police jurisdiction.

Police said the four persons, whose identity could not be ascertained immediately, had killed Faizan, 30, after they exchanged hot words with him over a petty issue. The victim died due to profuse bleeding as he had been hit in the head with clubs, which had caused serious injuries, the police said.
