MARDAN: People need to make sure their mothers, sisters and daughters cast their vote in the next general elections. This was said by Pakistan Peoples Party K-P Organising Committee member Rubina Khalid. While speaking at a convention of workers at Mardan Press Club on Wednesday, Khalid said the stalwarts of PPP will begin preparations for the next elections. She said PPP failed the previous elections because the opposition party rigged the polls. “The party members need to be more focused on the elections this time and must not give them a chance.” She said the workers should not leave the polling station until and unless the results are officially announced. Organisations and movements have been launched in which important decisions of the party will take place publicly, she added. A large number of locals and party representatives were present at the convention, including Mardan district naib nazim Asad Ali.
