MacBook is as useful as a hat for your cat, claims Microsoft

It seems Microsoft is reigniting the Mac vs PC war once again

Microsoft in its latest ad termed MacBook Air "slower, heavier, and a bit square" in the commercial, calling it “less useful like hat for you cat”.

It seems Microsoft is back at its games. In another bid to reignite the Mac vs PC war once again, Microsoft has released a rather cheesy musical-ad for its Surface Pro 4, comparing it with Apple’s MacBook Air.

However, most of the features that Microsoft counted as pros for Surface Pro 4 features are the same ones that we have heard before. Comparing the two devices, Microsoft said that its device has detachable keyboard, pen, and touchscreen whereas termed MacBook Air "slower, heavier, and a bit square" in the commercial, calling it “less useful like hat for your cat”.

“This one got detachable keys; it comes with a pen so you can write as you are please. This Mac doesn’t have any of that; it’s less useful like hat for your cat,” the ad states.

While comparing the weight of the two devices, Microsoft forgot to mention that Surface Pro 4 is lighter if you don’t have a Type Cover attached; otherwise both Surface Pro 4 and MacBook Air weigh almost the same.

This is the second time in a month that Microsoft took a jibe at Apple. In an ad released earlier this month, the company contested Apple's latest iPad Pro commercial that wants users to believe the iPad Pro is a full computer. The ad mocks iPad Pro commercial by bashing the fact the iOS tablet got a keyboard addition, but no trackpad, full desktop apps, or external ports.

No matter which side you are on, love it or hate it but you can’t erase this bizarre catman image from your memory.

Here’s the ad, enjoy:
