PESHAWAR: The provincial leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid have demanded action against Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Altaf Hussain under Article 6 of the Constitution for his anti-Pakistan statements. They expressed these views while addressing a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Monday. “The federal government has so far failed to take action against Altaf Hussain and his party leaders,” K-P PML-Q President Intikhab Chamkani said. He added legal action under Article 6 of the Constitution should be taken against Altaf for hurting the sentiments of the whole nation. Chamkani alleged that conspiracies were being hatched to destabilise the peaceful atmosphere in the country.
