Ranbir Kapoor finally breaks silence on breakup with Katrina Kaif

'After my parents, she’s been the most influential entity in my life,' says the superstar

Seven months after his breakup with Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor has finally opened about his split with the Bollywood actor.

During a recent interview, Ranbir revealed that several reasons led to the collapse of his relationship with Kat. “It was really punctured by a lot of things – by baseless rumours and reports and perceptions and points-of-view,” he said.



Ranbir also said that Katrina played a crucial part in his life. “It hurt, because I think after my parents, she’s been the most influential, most motivational entity in my life,” he said. Such a statement from this mama's boy was surprising, considering he shares a unique and endearing relationship with his parents.



The most coveted couple of Bollywood called it quits earlier this year after six years. The duo last shared screen in Jagga Jasoos.

Separately, Ranbir rubbished news regarding his alleged secret visit to Kat's house, terming it, 'absolutely untrue,' reported Pinkvilla.

Expressing disappointment he said, "That's absolutely untrue and I feel so sad that a section of media promotes or brainwashes a certain sect of the audience because as much as I would like to meet her.
He also clarified that the last time he met his ex was on the sets of his upcoming film Jagga Jasoos.



"The last time I met her was at the shoot of Jagga Jasoos and I'm going to meet her now on the 10th of September when we restart Jagga Jasoos. So, there is nothing true about the fact."

The actor outrightly refused to answer questions related to his settlement with Kat.
