Minister’s orders: Headmaster suspended for negligence    

Dahar said he will not tolerate any corruption in the education department

Falling ceiling plaster at Government Boys High School Burro Tehsil, Thal, in Jacobabad district injured four students of class eight. Jacobabad district officer Sadiq Baloch has been directed by Sindh education minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar to immediately suspend headmaster Abdul Aziz Burro for negligence. Dahar said that it is the prime responsibility of the heads of educational institutions to take safety measures for their students. Meanwhile, he also took notice of lack of proper cleanliness in Building No 6 and spoke to the chief secretary about action being taken against the caretaker. The special secretary for education, Zakir Shah, had a meeting with the minister and briefed him about ongoing inquiries against officers who were found involved in illegal appointments in the education department. Dahar said he will not tolerate any corruption in the education department and that everyone must work honestly.
