ISLAMABAD: The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) has arrested drug peddlers from the Islamabad and Murree, said a press release, on Friday.

ANF Rawalpindi recovered one Kg of heroin from the possession of two local drug peddlers who were arrested near Raja Travel in Faizabad.

While in another operation, a local drug peddler was arrested near Police Post on the Express Way at Koral Chowk, in possession of 250 gram of heroin.

Furthermore, ANF intercepted a Suzuki Mehran car near Sunny Bank Stop in Murree, and subsequently recovered 1.6 Kg heroin hidden in the vehicle. The two persons on board have been taken into custody by the force.

In yet another operation a passenger at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport was arrested, who was travelling on a Dubai bound flight. Two kg of heroine was recovered from his possession.

While a UK bound parcel in which 700 grams of heroin had been concealed was seized at the courier service company based in Attock.

Further investigations are underway.
