Visit To Icci: China keen to invest in Pakistan

ICCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh briefed the delegation about investment potential in various sectors of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: An 11-member delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs, led by Shadong Jinan Bulinte Railway Company Chairman Zheng Gouliang, visited the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) to explore opportunities of business collaboration, investment and joint ventures in Pakistan. The delegates said  China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) had generated great interest among Chinese investors who were keen to explore opportunities in Pakistan. The ICCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh briefed the delegation about investment potential in various sectors of Pakistan’s economy. He assured his all-out cooperation to Chinese companies who were interested in the CPEC projects and assured that the chamber would play its role in create synergies between Chinese and local companies for realising full benefits of this flagship project.
