Attack On Soldiers: ‘Deploy Rangers in Karachi’

Leader of Opposition in the Provincial Assembly Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed on Wednesday submitted a draft resolution condemning the attack on a Pakistan Army vehicle in Karachi which left two military personnel dead. The draft, submitted in the assembly secretariat, also calls on the Sindh government to issue a notification for deployment of Rangers in Karachi. It expresses sorrow over Tuesday’s incident that led to the death of two military personnel, Khadim Hussain and Abdul Razzaq. It also extends the support to the operation against terrorism and demands the federal and the provincial governments take measures to bring an end to terrorism in the country.
