Your stars today

Aries | March 20 – April 19

For ages you’ve been tiptoeing about certain rules or regulations that you’ve feared would upset your plans. While they might, you can find ways to work around them, but only if you begin discussing these now. The longer you wait, the less likely you are to find a workable compromise.

Taurus | April 20 – May 20

While you’re not thrilled with talk of substantial changes in elements of your domestic or working life, admittedly, things can’t remain as they are. Begin exploring your options in depth now. That ensures you’ll be prepared for the timely fresh perspective triggered by the New Moon, on 2 August.

Gemini | May 21 – June 20

Somebody seems to think pretending they don’t care about certain matters or, quite possibly, certain individuals, makes them seem strong and look cool. You’ve sometimes done this, and could actually be playing the same game now, so understand what they’re hoping to achieve, and how unwise a strategy it is.

Cancer | June 21 – July 22

Although it’s not often mentioned, at times you have a stubborn streak. So much you’ll sometimes refuse even to explore altering existing arrangements or new ideas. From your perspective, this is about avoiding unprofitable discussions. Once you learn more, however, you’ll realise changes are both wise and long overdue.

Leo | July 23 – August 22

Over the past weeks, a range of obstacles have prevented you from saying and doing what you intended. Now that your ruler the Sun has joined chatty Mercury and Venus in Leo, however, not only will those difficulties vanish, your mind will be clearer and mood so improved you’ll be irresistible.

Virgo | August 23 – September 22

When facing unfamiliar situations, you’ll arm yourself with expert advice. Then you’ll combine those insights with your own views to make a decision. Now, however, events are forcing you to hand everything over to one particular individual. Challenging as this is, don’t argue. Deep down, you know they’re trustworthy.

Libra | September 23 – October 22

Don’t be surprised if certain usually easygoing individuals are difficult, if not just plain impossible. While, from your perspective, the issues they’re dealing with aren’t that challenging, they regard them as nothing short of a crisis. That being the case, forget about seeking logical solutions and focus on reassuring them.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

Rewarding as recent conversations have been, looking back, you realise there’s far more you could have said, discussed and in some cases, revealed. In fact, you’re wondering if you haven’t unwittingly given a false impression. Instead of worrying, where it’s possible, revisit these matters and ask the individuals involved.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 21

Recently you agreed to plans that are introducing long overdue changes to certain joint arrangements. Since then, there’s been a series of problems. You’ve viewed these as an opportunity to make improvements but others just worried. Let them. While dilemmas can be remedied, eliminating somebody’s pessimistic nature is far more challenging.

Capricorn | December 22 – January 19

One of the things that most exasperates you in certain individuals is their tendency to rethink their own plans which, in turn, has an impact on yours. Yet now that situations are forcing you to do exactly that, you have a better understanding why sometimes such changes are unavoidable, if not necessary.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 17

Every once in a while you experiment with speaking in half-truths, that is, not exactly lying but, rather, ignoring some facts. While that worked at the time, there have always been problems later. Adopt this way of dealing with certain issues now, and yet again, you’ll run into difficulties.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

Since early in the year there’s been talk of potential changes in elements of your domestic life or activities out in the world. Although initially you dreaded even the idea of these, you’re beginning to recognise how timely, and beneficial, they’d be. The next step is to make them happen.
