It seems the unthinkable may be happening and Sindh may finally bid adieu to one of its longest reigning chief ministers.

Qaim Ali Shah, who seemed to have been a permanent fixture at the Sindh CM House, is to finally relinquish his position -- a decision apparently made during a high-level meeting co-chaired by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in Dubai.

This was the octogenarian's record third tenure as chief minister. He spent nearly 10 years in the office, the longest period among his peers. He, however, faced scathing criticism during his tenures with allegations ranging from bad governance to incompetence.

Although Shah's decade of rule was termed the "biggest tragedy for Sindh", he gave us some hilarious moments which Twitter was quick to point out. Although people received the news with surprise, they lost no time in coming up with some amusing remarks.

I would also like to offer a reward to whoever can hurl some shoes at the writer and editorial team who let this headline through. What language are these people even speaking...
Shakil Ahmed | 7 years ago | Reply It would have been better these baby Zardaris instead of acting as Kings take the lead and actually do something by themselves. Whats stopping Bilawal to become CM himself, it will teach him leadership and politics, best as CM Sindh he will not looking towards another boss. Bilawal should take this as opportunity to bring some life to Sindh instead of just replacing with another puppet!
