BANNU: At least two people were killed and eight others injured as a result of celebratory firing on the occasion of Eidul Fitr in Bannu’s Frontier Region, which is adjacent to the tribal area of North Waziristan.

Officials of the political administration confirmed the casualties, saying the injuries and deaths were caused when people fired aerial shots after Eid prayers in Bakkakhel area.
