ANKARA: It is "not enough" to show solidarity in response to terrorist attacks, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Thursday, in the wake of a suicide bomb attack on Istanbul's main airport this week that killed 42 people.

Cavusoglu made the comments at a news conference in Brussels to announce the "opening" of Chapter 33 in Turkey's European Union accession process, which covers budget policy.

Cavusoglu also said that he expects European Union to meet its commitments regarding the visa liberalisation.

EU 1 | 7 years ago | Reply People are dying in Turkey and Foreign minister is concerned about joining EU. First thing first demonstrate that your borders are not porous for terrorists and economic refugees. Also learn to keep your commitment to not change Hagia Sophia museum to mosque.
Khan | 7 years ago | Reply Well. Sorry Brother, Once again you fell to their hypocrisy. No forget about Visa Free travel to Europe and worry about being black listed for travel by EU and US.
