The always on-trend fashionista breaks down her experimental style, sharing the do’s and don’ts of her rulebook

Understanding your body is the key to looking good and a trait found amongst all impeccably dressed fashionistas. While people shy away from talking about their bodies, these brave souls explain how they work their anatomies to their advantage

How would you describe your body type?

I would describe it as skinny but curvy.

Has your body type changed over the last five years?

Not drastically. I went through ‘freshmen 15’ (more like 30) in my first year of college, but I went back to my normal weight the following year.

How has your style changed over the years?

I would say it’s become much more versatile than it used to be. I have definitely become much more open to experimenting.

In your opinion what is your most troublesome area?

I haven’t found any troublesome areas yet!

How do you dress your body according to your body type?

Since I have long legs, I like to wear high-waisted jeans, or pieces that accentuate my waist. I love dresses that are fitted around the waist and flared at the bottom.

In your opinion what is the biggest mistake a person can make while dressing here?

Wearing clothes that aren’t suitable for the weather. If you’re wearing warm clothes in this scorching heat, it’s possible to melt away.

What silhouettes suit your body the most?

Dresses or items of clothing that accentuate my waist.

What is the one piece of clothing that you shy away from wearing and why?

I have yet to find a piece like that!
