PESHAWAR: Police officers from Swabi were awarded by IGP Nasir Khan Durrani for their exemplary performance and commitment to their services during a ceremony held at the Central Police Office on Monday.

Recently, officers of the Swabi police gunned down two convicted terrorists during an encounter. The encounter lasted for 45 minutes. During the raid, both terrorists were killed while Hammad, a police constable, was critically injured due to a hand grenade attack from the opposite side.

The police also confiscated two SMGs, 100 rounds, two 30-bore pistols, two live and one used hand grenades from their possession.
