West Indies have agreed to play a pink-ball Test against Pakistan in the UAE in September.
According to ESPNcricinfo, the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) agreed to a pink-ball Test match after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) offered the visitors an opportunity to have a practice and training session under lights.
The PCB has also proposed to revise the composition of upcoming tour to three Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is, from the earlier plan of two Tests, five ODIs and two T20Is.
PCB approves 10 day-night matches for upcoming season
The board has been keen to host a day-night Test since 2013, and has even introduced 10 day-night matches in upcoming first-class season to allow players to acquaint themselves to playing under lights. The plan will be implemented in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy matches, including the semi-final and final matches.

Pakistan has not hosted a Test match on home soil since 2009, when armed gunmen attacked the Sri Lankan team bus during the Lahore Test.
Since then, the UAE has hosted majority of Pakistan’s home series, with only Afghanistan and Zimbabwe visiting Pakistan for one series each.
