Dirty business: Case of Dolphin Squad officials transferred to ACD

Four Dolphin Squad officials booked for letting go a drug peddler in return for a bribe were on Friday handed over to the Anti Corruption Department.

ACD Assistant Director (Lahore region) Chaudhry Maqbool took custody of the officials and started investigation in the matter.

The officials identified as Shahbaz Saleem, Muhamamd Shahbaz, Muhammad Amir and Muhamamd Afzal had been arrested by Faisal Town after a departmental inquiry found their involvement in the matter.

The inquiry had been launched after Mujahid SP Karar Hussain received a tip off about the incident where the officials’ received Rs90,000 bribe from a drug peddler caught from near Model Town Link Road.
