There’s no question that members of Hollywood’s elite live in the lap of luxury but quite a few glitterati decided to give back this Sunday. Do-gooders Jessica Alba and Nicole Scherzinger took centre stage at looking dapper — all while being bountiful, at a private residence in Beverly Hills, raising funds for arts-based educational initiatives at the 8th Annual Empathy Rocks event presented by Children Mending Hearts and Vintage Grocers, and One For The Boys charity ball which was held at London’s Victoria And Albert Museum, respectively. We were moved — by their sense of effortless fashion, and their open-handedness, of course!
Jessica Alba
In addition to sponsoring the deserving cause, the Into The Blue actor was able to parade her unique style that radiated warm ‘summertime weather’ vibes. Jessica aced the ‘sheer-netty’ look in a black lace dress that featured mesh panels near her neckline and hem, halter sleeves and a strategically cinched waist. Relying on one accessory to make a bold statement; the 35-year-old Sin City diva stood out in a pair of gold circular earrings. Keeping her hair and makeup fuss-free, Jessica rocked the au naturel look with nude eyes and lips, a sweep of bronzer and an unassuming mid-part.
Nicole Scherzinger
The Your Love singer looked like a vision in white at the One for The Boys Fashion Ball, hosted by Samuel L Jackson and founder Sofia Davis to fight against male cancer. Garbed gracefully in a low-cut strapless, bustier white dress which boasted floral embellishments running throughout, we were in awe. The star, who is set to return to the X Factor this year, teamed the elegant number with a pair of sky-high Christian Louboutin heels. Her locks were styled in a seamlessly straight fashion with her lips festooned in a slick of marsala-hued lipstick. Only if giving back made you look this good!
