Former Pakistan Test batsman Muhammad Yousuf on Monday said he was not offered the post of head coach by Afghanistan Cricket Association (ACA) but he has applied for it.

The head coach position has been vacant after former Test captain Inzamamul Haq joined the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as chief selector of the national team on April 18.

The last date to submit an application for the post is April 27. However, reports in the local media claimed that Yousuf has been approached by the ACA.
