The British pop star has donated his famous locks to charity

One Direction's very own Harry Styles has cut his hair! The former Rapunzel has donated his famous locks to charity.

The Little Princess Trust is a charity across the UK and Ireland, that uses donated hair to make wigs for children, who experience hair loss due to cancer treatment.

Harry sent fans into a tizzy, when he posted a photo of his detached ponytail on Instagram.

Within five hours, the pop star had over a million likes on his post, and was trending on Twitter, with the hashtag #HarryStylesHaircut.
