The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad has made it to the list of 150 Under 50 Rankings 2016.

The results released in April by Times Higher Education (THE) rank the Pakistani university at 101.

The Times Higher Education 150 Under 50 Rankings 2016 is a ranking of the top 150 universities under 50 years old. It celebrates young universities that have made a great impact on the global stage in years rather than centuries and showcases the future rising university stars, according to its website.

Here’s how 6 Pakistani universities ranked worldwide

Universities are measured according to their teaching, research, citations, international outlook and knowledge transfer.

THE also released a World Reputation Rankings 2016 list on May 4, but Pakistani universities failed to make it to the list.

However, World University Rankings 2015-2016 released in September 2015 placed two Pakistani universities Quaid-i-Azam University and National University of Sciences and Technology at 501 and 601 respectively out of a total of 800 universities worldwide.
