The Raees-Sultan clash has taken a confusing turn, with SRK now possibly appearing in a cameo role for Salman Khan's upcoming film. Apparently, the two Khans met on the set of Sultan recently, and their interaction was recorded to be incorporated in the film.

Pinkvilla reports a source as saying, “A few weeks ago, Shah Rukh dropped in on the sets of Sultan to meet Salman and Farah Khan who was choreographing a song for the film. When he was on the set, they recorded bits of the actors interacting, possibly for the making of the film. Later, the team decided to incorporate those bits in the film."

In Sultan, there's a sequence that shows Salman meeting a celebrity for which the team hopes to use his footage with SRK.

"There’s a scene in Sultan, which requires a celebrity to meet Salman. The team came up with the idea to include SRK’s footage for that scene.”

According to BollywoodLife however, the cameo appearance is on hold as the Sultan team has yet to take permission from Shah Rukh.

“As they haven’t asked for SRK’s permission as yet, everything is kept hush-hush, but discussions are on to incorporate this footage into the film,” a source tells BollywoodLife.

While Salman's Sultan and Shah Rukh's Raees are expected to hit screens this Eid, recent reports suggest that the stars are in talks to avoid the box office clash.
