Sajjad Saeed Kazmi passes away

Kazmi had served at the National Bank of Pakistan for more than 30 years

Syed Sajjad Saeed Kamzi, son of the late Maulana Ahmad Saeed Kazmi, died of a heart attack on Thursday at the Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Institute of Cardiology (CPEIC).


He was 65 years old. His nephew Ahmad Saleem told journalists that Kazmi had been suffering from cardiac ailments for 20 years. He was in Mailsi on Wednesday night to attend a religious event where his condition deteriorated and he was taken to a hospital from where he was referred to the CPEIC in Multan. At the CPEIC, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Kazmi had served at the National Bank of Pakistan for more than 30 years and was an executive vice president (EVP) when he retired. He was the brother of Alhe Sunnat Wal Jamaat chief Maulana Mazhar Saeed Kamzi and former minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi.
