Former WWE wrestler Dalip Singh Rana, popularly known by his ring name ‘The Great Khali’, was seriously injured on Wednesday in a wrestling event held in Haldwani, Uttarakhand in India.

The Indian wrestler was participating in the first event of ‘The Great Khali Wrestling Show’ at the Indira Gandhi International Cricket Stadium where he suffered injuries.

Several foreign wrestlers, who were also part of the event, were held responsible for the injuries as they knocked ‘The Great Khali’ with chairs.

The 43-year-old was later admitted to ICU in Brijlal Hospital where doctors said they would observe him for the next 24 hours.
