Emergency service: Nisar inaugurates Rescue 1122 in Kallar Syedan

Federal Minister for Interior Choudhary Nisar Ali inaugurated the Emergency Service Rescue 1122 office in Kallar Syedan to provide efficient response to emergencies like road traffic accidents, building collapse, hazardous incidents, fires and bomb blast incidents.


Rescue 1122 Spokesperson Deeba Shahnaz said that the inauguration ceremony was held at Kallar Syedan, a press release issue stated.


The District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Rawalpindi Dr Abdul Rahman briefed the minister about performance of Rescue 1122 and its emergency vehicles and staff deputed at the station.


Dr Rahman said the emergency service was going to start the office at Kallar Syedan with one fire vehicle, two rescue cardiac ambulances and 40 rescuers.


He further said that the emergency service would provide emergency medical care, fire fighting services, urban search and rescue, water rescue, animal rescue, height rescue and medical cover to the events like Eid, Muharram and Rabiul Awal.


Speaking on the occasion, Nisar congratulated local residence of Kallar Syedan and said that Rescue 1122 was already working very hard and efficiently. He said that he hoped that they would also maintain their quality of service.
