Tainted Pakistani duo Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif have been registered for Caribbean Premier League’s player draft, which is scheduled for February 11, after serving five-year bans for spot-fixing.

The pair made their comeback in Pakistan’s domestic cricket in January after the ban ended in September last year.

Mohammad Amir also made it onto the CPL draft list after making a successful comeback to the national side in Pakistan’s recent tour of New Zealand. Amir was also implicated on the charges of spot-fixing alongside Butt and Asif in 2010.

Butt, Asif return to domestic action

A total of 37 players from Pakistan, which include Shahid Afridi, Umar Akmal, Misbah-ul-Haq and Shoaib Malik, will feature in CPL draft.
