'Manto' and 'Moor' make it to London Asian Film Festival

Manto and Moor may not have led the box office during their release, but the two films have made headlines in the international world. They are being shown overseas in several film festivals and their most recent screening will be at the 18th London Asian Film Festival.

Manto to open Jaipur International Film Festival

According to the festival's programme, Manto will be shown at the Regent Street cinema, on the 5th of March, followed by a Q&A session, while Moor will be screened on the 6th, at the same location.

Recently, Manto went to India when it was chosen to open the 8th Jaipur Film Festival (JIFF) 2016, where it bagged several awards including Best Actor Award in the Feature Film Category, Best Sound and Editing Award in the same category.

Both Pakistani movies have been hugely successful on an international scale as Moor was under consideration to become an Oscar nominee. Unfortunately, it did not make the cut but its screenings have still filled seats nonetheless.
