RAWALPINDI: A suspect managed to escape from the district courts premises after his bail was cancelled and he was about to be arrested on Tuesday. Shakeel Hussain, the suspect, was nominated in fraud case amounting to Rs53.6 million. Ijaz Baig had lodged the complaint with Waris Khan police that Hussain had defrauded him in what appeared to be a property deal. Hussain, however, had obtained interim bail from the court. The complainant moved the court requesting that Hussain’s bail be cancelled since it was a major fraud case. The court accepted his plea and cancelled Hussain’s bail. But before police could hand-cuff him, Hussain ran and escaped from the court.
