KARACHI: The last-16 line-up for the 1st Jubilee Insurance National U18 Snooker Championship was completed on Friday as Haris Tahir was pitted against Mohammad Salo while Usman Ahmed will face Waqas Shafiq on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Uzair Khan will be up against Umar Farooq and Farhan Khan will take on Willam Laffourge.
In other matches, Saud Khan will lock horns with Muzammil Khan while Umar Khan will fight it out against Shahzaib Malik for a place in the quarter-finals.
When Pakistan hosted world snooker events
Sameerul Hassan will compete with Muhammad Faraz and Azam Khan will put up a fight against Zubair Shamsi.
In the last group matches, Umar Khan beat Farhan 3-0 with scores of 41-39, 47-11, 54-13 while Shahzaib defeated Usama Bin Raheem 3-1 with a close scoreline of 53-68, 64-57, 52-32, 59-52.
Arish Akbar won 3-0 against Aoun Abbas while Laffourge won 3-1 against Sheraz Raza by 30-63, 71-19, 68-06, 55-12.
