24/7 : Police directed to monitor suspect movements

Bahawalpur Patrolling SSP Asif Ansari said on Tuesday that police officials should strive to monitor terrorist activity.

Ansari made the remarks at a meeting. He said police should also focus on revamping performance standards with regard to facilitating citizens. The SSP said national security and terrorism were two pivotal issues that needed all security agencies to effectively discharge their duties in their jurisdictions. He said police had to monitor suspects’ movements on roads around-the-clock and strive to eradicate terrorism.

The SSP said police should deal with the people in a befitting manner. He also directed officials to ensure that personnel remained punctual and were attired in good quality uniforms. He directed officials to revamp performance standards.
