Denied Timely Treatment: Family protests death of newborn boy

A family member claimed that they were at the hospital for three hours but there was no doctor available

KARACHI: A Landhi family protested outside a private hospital in Landhi No. 3 against the administration after their newborn child died on Monday. Four-day-old Hammad Idrees was unable to get treatment on time which led to his death, the family told the police. A family member claimed that they were at the hospital for three hours but there was no doctor available. Following the baby’s death, the family members protested outside the hospital, which caused a traffic jam in the area.
