ISLAMABAD: World Bank Executive Director Nasir Mahmood Khosa called on Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Monday and discussed matters of mutual interest. The minster, while talking to the bank director, said the government appreciated the assistance and cooperation of international institutions in helping achieve the objective of macroeconomic stability and hoped the partnership would continue in future as well. Khosa briefed the minister about upcoming visit of the World Bank president to Pakistan, to which Dar said, “the trip will provide an opportunity to further increase the positive contribution of the World Bank in infrastructure and social-sector development.
