Leave no one behind: MUNIK VII calls out to future diplomats

It's the time of the year to take out your best suit, tie and fulfill the thirst to make a change.


Model United Nations Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, (Munik) returns with its legacy to develop informed young leaders through the 2016 teams, "This January, Leave No One Behind." The conference will be held from January 7 to January 10.


This year's theme is based on the 17 global goals for sustainable development set by the United Nations General Assembly to be achieved by the year 2030.


Delegates in the making: Nasra school holds first-ever MUN

The delegates at Munik VII will be drafting plans to successfully implement these goals, in order to achieve an end to extreme poverty, fighting inequality and injustice, and fix climate change. There will be myriads of unique committees such as Fortune 500 Summit, Court of Owls and Congress of Vienna.


Moreover, this year Munik will host more than seven international chairs to help delegates gain an insight on different cultures and ideas. With big names in the debating circuit as chairs, heated debates are definitely in store for delegates.
