Pakistan have dropped from second to sixth in the ICC T20I rankings after being whitewashed 3-0 by England in the UAE.
The hosts were unable to chase down the target in any of the three matches and as a result fell down four places to sixth. England, meanwhile, moved two places up to fourth after outplaying Pakistan in all three departments.
It was not all doom and gloom for Pakistan though as skipper Shahid Afridi had an impressive series at an individual level and performed well with both bat and ball.

The skipper took five wickets in the three matches at an average of 13.4 with the ball and also played attacking cameos in the last two matches with scores of 24 and 29.
Afridi, who also became the record highest T20I wicket-taker with 88, is now ranked second in the all-rounders T20I rankings behind Bangladesh’s Shakib alHasan. The leg-spinner also moved up to sixth in the bowler’s ranking.
Shoaib Malik, who scored a career high 75 in the final T20I, was the only Pakistani batsman to improve his ranking, going from 65th to 58th.

England’s Alex Hales kept his spot at number three to ensure his place as his side’s top-ranked batsman. Skipper Eoin Morgan is also in the top 10 at eighth. Man of the series James Vince was the highest mover as he made it into the top 100 by taking up the 51st spot.
Pakistan’s highest ranked batsmen — Ahmed Shehzad (16th) and Umar Akmal (18th) — both dropped two points apiece after mixed performances in the series.
