PFDC Bridal Week, October 10 - a conventional collection of bridal wear.
These clothes are breathtakingly unwearable for the average person. I know its bridals and would a real man wear orange. Must be just for the show. Must cost alot of money though to make those samples of clothing, no wonder designers charge so much.
The brown and the purple sarees are the best. Rest all the designs are a bit weird.
I am confused. Malalla is the Pakistani schoolgirl who was shot by the Taliban for going to school. Are these women educated? Why do they not fear Taliban retaliation for showing their faces in a public setting? I also heard of a young woman who’s tribal leader had her raped by several men as punishment for her brother approaching a young lady who was of a higher social status than him. Are these women high or low social status? What protects them from such retribution? Truly I am just confused by the seeming contradictions. I am not looking to argue with anyone, just get an idea of why things are so different for different women in Pakistan.
Was HSY only designer being exhibited at PFDC Bridal Week.
@confused: you need to visit Pakistan – plz stop making perceptions about Pakistan just from the news; which only present the bad ones. It’s a diverse country of most hospitable 180 million people.
