Many people wrongly believe that the rebels are better than Bashar al-Assad. They are not. The rebels can claim this is an isolated event. It is not. There is no “good” side in this horrible civil war. Children and innocent civilians will suffer — at the hands of either side.
who needs a enemy, when you can destroy your own country….
Some of the photos are several months old. Would be interesting to know if Miss Guevera and Umm Jaafar are still alive.
These so called rebels, are in reality paid mercenaries of certain ”Muslim states” who don’t like the fact that Assad is not a puppet of the west. Currently the so called rebels are under the cosh, with the Syrian army taking control of large parts of occupied areas, and killing many of these mercenaries. @ Naveen, good question, apparently the Syrian army have switched from defensive to offensive mode, hardcore ‘ jihadis’ are not coping well, so I doubt the like of ms Guevara and Jaafar, will last long.
Hmm… Chances are slim if they actually took part in that conflict (and were not merely part of the rebel’s PR offensive), the battle of Aleppo has been waging continuously for more than a year now.
As for rest of your assertion, I largely agree. Assad has already said that he’s ready for peaceful negotiations with whole of opposition to democratically resolve the issue by keeping everything on the table. Rebels, incited by their masters, however just want him to surrender to them at gunpoint which quite obviously he can’t do, given the fate Gaddafi and Saddam received recently. Won’t do any good to Syria either, as rebel factions are already at war with each other as well.
A same sort of training is required for every man and woman in Karachi to live peacefully in the city of gangsters.Recommend
Look at the background, the whole place is wrecked most probably by the bombardment of the government forces.
I guess it takes a lot of killing, bombardment and blood to give enough motivation for these women to take up arms.
May Allah protect us from a situation like this.
