    Kindly keep in mind that all the women you can see on the ramp were Models from Karachi and Punjab and they were Hindko / Punjabi women and Urdu Speakers as Pukhtoon woman never come out to show her clothing like that to other men and our Women are more upright than them. Moreover restrict this culture of showing women as Slave to the modelling industry to Punjab and Karachi and kindly spare KPK from these adventures.Recommend

    these adverture incite social illness. Peshawar the home of pushtoons, can’t help these trends. woman walking infront of men, exposing themselves all shows deviation from social and ehtical values of tribal area. initiating this degree of platform would ruin both relegious and tribal fundamental. to save the pukhtoons and their concept of veilling in pukhtoon culture, pukhtoons must upcome against these manial festivals.

    @Pukhtoons:
    So Pukhtoon men and women in the audience are upright or not so? Not to mention, the huge Pukhtoon population that has migrated and settled in Karachi and Lahore to make a descent living, Why have those upright men and women chosen to live their lives among “not so upright” people?

    Apparently they are positive things but I have an ominous feeling about them. If someone has followed the recent history of Afghanistan they may agree with me that Peshawar is somewhat gonna become like what Kabul was in 70′s.
    I hope I am wrong!

    The comparison about Pushtoon and Punjabi women don’t make any sense as both are human and who is upright and who is not is just a personal matter of choice no one should regulate or define uprightness like the so called Qadri doing. Pushtoon culture has so many shades and great things its not limited women coming out or not of home so please focus on other great pushtoon things. Unfortunately the so called moralist and extremist have destroyed the very fabric of pushtoon culture those who know pushtoon culture there is no place for such element. lets appreciate whatever little air the pushtoon are getting in times when pushtoon are surrounded by bombs and blood all around

    @Umar Pathan I have met many like you in Karachi like you who just write Pathan with their names and then claim to be Pukhtoons but in actual they are just migrants who want some respect by claiming our anscestory.

    @ZaheenYousaf If Pukhtoons are living in Lahore and Karachi then the only reason is Financial but it does not mean that we will allow their cultural invasion on us as we know what our roots are. In Lahore Punjabis respect Pukhtoons because Punjabis in general are culture less people and culture-less people always respect the people of culture and learn from them and Punjabis are learning from us actually.Recommend

    @Pukhtoons: brother there are different kind of people in every society and country. The arguments you’re making are baseless. Since when did the punjabis did’nt have any culture? I’m a proud pathan but you’re arguments are worthless bro. its just that in punjab and sind these things are quite open and nobody cares. and i can guarantee you that the same pathan women can go out of their way when they visit modern parts of our country
    And the same Pukhtoons are sitting in line watching the girls as they walk down the ramp. The company wouldn’t have been here had they knew the Pukhtoon women wont go for what they offer
    P.S please grow up

    @Pukhtoons dear the debate is not about Pathan or not Pathan no one is asking you for any certificate and as per as respect is concern its Always in Allah’s hand not in attaching Pathan with one’s name. By the way one thing for you every Pushtoo speaking is not pathan at least you know about this fact

    if your pashtoo people are that much cultural barrier then why the pukhtoons come to see these events.

    I felt the cramps inside me when i read the comments of @pakhtoons ,,, as a Pakhtoon man I would appreciate anything of creativity in our Cultural hub i.e Pekhawar. Peshawarites need to be given a blast of fresh air after all these years of violence

    @Pukhtoonz…. I think you have only seen Chargan Chowk and Hashtnagri in Peshawar…. Being student and resident of Peshawar I know fashion shows are organized every second week in Peshawar and most of University students from peshawar including Pathans (feminine) participate in catwalks and ramp walks. Visit Iqra, IM Sceinces etc and see yourself whats happening out there… Your opinion about Pukhtoon culture will definitely change.
    I am not advocating these fashion shows etc but your comments were offending many others around….

    @pukhtoonz Why are yo looking at them then? Kya yeh Khulla Tezaad nai? Please stop playing victim all the time. Just to add to your religious knowledge you committed a sin by checking out the “Na-mehram” women. Please stop using religion for political gimmicks!
