After looking at these pics I am getting more sold to the idea that these Metro buses will be insufficient in no time. Pakistan needs to invest in Railways to offer as an alternative towards Mass Transport.

One thing that we should kept in mind that we should think positive . These types of services and facilities will help us in longer run to live a happy life but yes on the other hand pm should also show some response to the other cities not only Punjab, but also in whole Pakistan . Our country is not limited to Lahore only.

I think its all about choices. If in southern Punjab more than 150 infants die before their first birthday in every 1,000 live births – the rate similar to that in ub-saharan Africa, and if people in Lahore have alternative, perhaps time consuming and expensive mode of travel, then we need to understand where should the Govt should have spent Rs.30 billion. For some a bus service in metropolitan city is a higher priority.Recommend

Interesting, whenever our government tries to solve the transportation woes of “Ghareeb Awam” they end up with these fancy buses.
It was done in Karachi, is being done in Lahore. Even CM sb would know that this will only earn some soft points for the upcoming elections, but then may be this is what he is after.
Karachi and Lahore both need Mass transit system. Call it train or call it tube, even though an expensive option, it is the long term answer to many problems these two cities are facing.

People, why don’t you understand? Metro bus isn’t a small project. The same enjoyment and rush of people happened here in Abu Dhabi for new bus services and Dubai Metro(train). Perhaps its bit more in Pakistan because there were no development at this level. Metro bus are similar to Dubai bus, its operations are similar to Abu Dhabi bus operations. All tunnels bridges are like UAE ones. Overhead pedestrian crossings are like Abu Dhabi ones. Metro bus takes Pakistan in a bit to new era, of development. Our media needs to understand this. Just look at what the album title says “Metro Bus Madness”. Where as if you notice its just 1 pic that shows people fighting to get into bus. Rest of the pics are completely fine. And for those who say that this metro bus investment could have made 10 state-of-the-art hospitals, if hospitals would have been made then they would have been asking for Transport investment. See, you have to start from somewhere. You can’t make everything grow at same time. As for Metro operations to be going on, people need to get civilized and make sure to use them properly because its bought by their own money.

To all Pakistani Youth, demand the Pakistan Government to RESEARCH and Use the Nuclear power U already have to develop into ELECTRICAL ENERGY and improve the transporation of MASSES across the Country and U have the talent, instead ot following the path OF TERROR, divert Ur energies in building LUXURY RAILWAY COACHES and U all SEE the PROGRESS U will not BELIEVE it is POSSIBLE.
