NS&Co. after their recent conduct, still find the audacity to lecture the people on democratic process, constitution etc., then it is not them who should be blamed but those who are still nodding their heads.

Mr. Nisar, you (PMLN) and your allies, who wants to protect your own vested intrest has taken over parliament by hijacking mandate of people of Pakistan.

PAT and PTI don’t have a clue about what democracy is ! They believe it is their democratic right to storm any building and pillage it ! Are they illiterates or just plain ignorant? Will any other country allow this to happen in front of their national assembly? Why aren’t these goondas forcefully thrown out of the place?

Imran Khan has been forced to resort to such tactics because PML N never took him seriously before. All his petitions in courts and motions in NA were, sooner or later, dismissed.

Btw, I remember someone attacking Supreme Court back in 1999.

  • MAK
    Sep 2, 2014 - 3:10PM

Give me one reason why should I support NS and the Parliament. Don’t say for the sake of Democracy because I do not see any true democracy in Pakistan.

When there was an attack on Indian parliament, the entire country stood up unanimously against any attack on their state institutions.
When will Pakistani nation stand up against Imran Khan and Qadri, who have taken this nation hostage for 20 days??

I believe Imran Khan is a very nieve person if he thinks that taking around 25000 supporters to the capital is a way to remove current leaders. If this is your new solution then I am afraid PMLN or PPP can quite easily bring quadrouple the number to the capital and then push to have the leaders removed. Its a foolish and damaging way to try to achieve your objective. You are causing major loss to the economy and also causing untold destruction/disruption to the whole capital.

I would like to point out that 25000 loud shouting supporters does not give you the right to remove leaders and then think that you can replace them. What gives you the right to assume you are the best option for Pakistan – let the people choose at the general elections, you cannot accept the peoples will no matter who else is chosen. :

If other parties are so corrupt and have always plundered wealth from Pakistan, why do you have some of those standing by your side. Some of the crooks now with you have also enjoyed a lot of that plundered wealth, and they won’t hesitate in dipping into the finances again.

I think you have blackmailed the government enough, go back to Lahore or UK and enjoy the old playboy lifestyle. Could it be that you are now so power hungary or would like to build the bank balance for your future generations.

I regretfully agree with CH Nisar here, hijacking PTV building was no revolutionary act, it was terrorism, but also it also fuels to the argument that our people are not ready for a democratic ideology, what we all need is order and DUNDA, we don’t know how to achieve our rights we only know how to get it, and being a vigilante is not the solution to our cause.

  • LHR
    Sep 2, 2014 - 3:33PM

Why no one in parliament has condemned the role of afwaj…..who have failed to restore peace in capital when they were handed over security of the city under article 245?

Are they re-affirming what President of PTI said yesterday??

  • LHR
    Sep 2, 2014 - 3:37PM

@MAK: Quote “Give me one reason why should I support PM and the Parliament”
Nobody is asking you to do so……you can continue to support gunda gardi and vandalism in capital.

    Sep 2, 2014 - 4:48PM

Don’t you think the story is being hiked up. I mean the thing what the people did was wrong for sure. There is no doubt about it. But Nisar is giving to much fuel to the fire and labeling Treason and Militant extremism. Please be realistic. The people who entered did not take anyone hostage. They did not shoot any one on the building point blank. They did not use rubber bullets and smoke bombs. They left within Half an hour. Still I say they should be punished by identifying them in the security cameras. But please don’t hike the issue so much that Model town killing looks like a very small crime. Thank you.

    Sep 2, 2014 - 5:19PM

Set everything aside. If you are so confident that people support PMLN, the masses are in your favor. Let IK have as many elections he wants? What are you so afraid of? Why is the whole corrupt parliament so adamant on resisting resignation and having polls again. Even a 10 year old can figure out why!

    Sep 2, 2014 - 5:24PM

What about the showdown put up by Marvi Memon at PTV Head Office in ISB, wasnt this a planned conspiracy by PML-N against PTI and PAT.

  • Rizwan Ahmed
    Sep 2, 2014 - 5:36PM

Peoples are dumb and deaf …….They are just counting the crowd people. They are not watching that the so-called Parliament is united to hide their past and current corruption, lack of governing capabilities, poor decision making, lack in establishing institutes based on merit, poor performance, more focused to preserve their own personal benefits. By the way whole Pakistan is watching the protest through Media, every one is listening. When IK was calmed no one was listening, when he staged the show, his voice reaches in Parliament. Are you all not getting the point?

  • Usman
    Sep 2, 2014 - 5:42PM

”eight cameras were stolen, each costing a hefty 0.7 to 0.8 million.” Ch. Nisar where was security, police doing? Why Army allowed people to leave with these large camers (not cell phone cameras), and where is the CCTV footage showing this theft?
Or perhaps, check with Marvi Memon. She can lead you to the thieves.

It is sad sad affair, Why it has to come to this? It seems since NS was the protégé of General Zia, he lacks the credential to be a democratic person, I recall that he wanted to become Ameer-ul-Momineen in the 90s, they bought the votes in 2013 elections and now preaching democracy. There was nothing democratic about these 2 brothers, democratic people don’t go around and attacking the Supreme Court of Pakistan because the court gave their verdict which did not suit them, and now ordering massacre in Model Town, they have made the Punjab Police so politicized that the police do what ever they tell them. Talk about democracy. In Parliamentary system the Prime Minister is answerable to the National Assembly and this prime minister never showed his face there for almost 14 months, and now PML-N supporters and even the Parliamentarian talk about democracy, what a farce. IK was running pillar to pillar to rectify the fraudulent ballots in the 4 constituencies initially but NS knew well that it will open up the rest of fraudulent ballots they managed to attain. Is he a legitimate Prime Minister, I don’t know but his behavior shows some thing was not up to the par. Now it is too late for all the parties to sit down and figure out some political solution. By the way the opposition in the NA throws their support for NS because they don’t want to lose their jobs since they have invested huge amounts to come to the NA and has not recovered their investment yet. They are so transparent.
