    Immorality & Immodesty…plz post my comment.

    “Noam Chomsky, one of the most respected political analyst and activist, in his book Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media analysed media’s role in democratic societies in shaping opinions and perception of public- in the interest of influential corporations and political parties. We have to realise Media groups are NOT non profit social service organisations. Media Groups are businesses, and at the end of the day all that matters are profits. That is why and how they exist. And therefore they will protect interests of those who bring in the most profits – and in their case these are the large corporations, political parties with big pockets and secret agencies – both local and foreign – distributing their funds.”

    Those who defend Immorality & Immodesty have already been changed in terms of their opinion & perception.

    at least my contribution is a healthy criticism not influenced by media or anything but for betterment. You are the same as Mr Chomsky has highlighted.

    Chomsky is an atheist, and he would defend Veena Malik’s right to dress according to her own will

    Why people are making is such a big issue on her? get a life. What if she is Pakistani? doesn’t she has a right to live on her own. It seems that she is unfortunate to be a Muslim and to be born in Pakistan.
    I’m sure Indians are feeling pity on such narrow standard of mind of Pakistanis.

    @geeko: Vishnu fails to realise that Bollywood actresses without their 4 layers of make up look like girls around every street corner:)

    And yes Bollywood is very talented at copying movies from all corners of the world.

    “around every street corner:)”

    Around every street corner in Pakistan.

    Fixed.
    Apart from that, agree. :)

    @khalsa:

    The less you talk about our buried movie industry the more you actually congratulate it, but Pakistan scores high when it comes to the fashion industry, and I’m saying that without being too patriotic.

    She use controversies to stay in the lime light which is a shame because she is a talented actress.Controversy is needed by some one with out talent.

    As opposed to the lovely au naturale makeup less Bollywood beauties… ;) And I believe Pungi stated Veena appears to have become darker after going to India (not a point I agree with personally, doesn’t matter either which way), which renders your response off point. Js mate. Cheers!
