    ^^^ What is against Islam in these pics??

    Moreover Islam encourages this very type of sports, not playing RAW 2012 @ your computer or being a chess master!

    @ADEEL:

    Islam also supports sports such is treachury or teer andazi, horseback riding, neza bazi or any other sports which makes you competant in the fight with the enemy if you have to.

    Now, I have only one question to ask??? How are these almost naked men any better than models in nude/semi nude photo shots?????????????
    It is disgusting to distort a fine Faith System and use it for peculiar interests. Religion pops up only when a women dares to do something out of code. By the way, I am NOT pro-anybody in this situation!
    Of Course when these guys do Akhaara, its healthy , fun, and manly but any woman does any sport requiring just shorter clothes, it suddenly becomes “un-Islamic” and “gairat ka mamla”. Double standard hipocrites !

    @Truth From Pakistan: Relax dude. Just like we have WWE Divas i hope someday we will have Akhara Divas. But i gave that idea to my sister who is presumably liberal and she told me that Kuch Sharam Karo.
    Also I hope that they will bring more innovation in local Akhara events to have more followers in this field.

    I have to say on these pages, someone just has to light a match with the “is this islamic” line or something with “islam” in it and the conversation is nothing about the pictures from there on. I don’t really care what models wear or what they don’t wear etc but the common chap who comes to these pages isn’t really interested in the content. Rather most people are looking for a piece of controversy to spice things up and that’s exactly what ET encourages. Don’t publish this comment if the moderater think that mentioning “ET” in my comment is an offense, be a wussy!!

    @Truth From Pakistan:

    Dear, Islam has a different dress code for men and women. it further varies in case of presence of same or opposite sex in surroundings.
    When there are all men around (which happens in case of akhara), a male can dress like the people are in akhara. But the same thing is in case of women, where Islam allows women to dress semi nude in public?? Dressing of these wrestlers is fair according to their environment, but it is false they are standing in a fashion show surrounded by opposite sex.

    You made your point, but have you thought that “ghairat ka mamla” is much sensitive in case of a girl rather than a boy.

    Your point is not justified at all.

    @ADEEL:

    I believe one can not wrestle with all clothes-on. Even if it starts like that the clothes will be torn into shreds in no-time. There are many professions like farming, animal care, water use, tree climbing for fruits, well digging, etc etc. where you must use best tactic to perform well. Now focusing on certain poses for perverts is sinful. Women have to pull-up their sleeves and pants too to cut the crop efficiently. If women want they can have their own wrestling matches but in "Purda"(for women only). Beside, female skin exposure is not treated same as men around the world.

    So sorry you can’t have that luxury with the opposite sex. They, on the other hand have advantage here. But then again; they don’t have our impulse & biology. Even revered Muslim women were not stopped from watching men in such games. Remember, it’s only us who have “honor killing”, “Love as haraam”, no female doctors in family, or “women stay indoor”, 14feet high walls & full-face Burqa contrary to the ways in Islamic history. Islamic History has not seen our version of Islam to be Short!

    @i want to know
    THIS IS COMPLETELY AGAINST THE True TEACHINGS OF QURAAN AND SUNNAH. Please don’t upload these kind of photos at the internet. In Islam, body(naaf to guthnay) should be covered .This creates misconceptions among Muslims.May Allah forgive all of our sins! AAMEEN!!
