The best thing to get hits is by posting vulgar & semi nude pictures.

This is no way near modest dressing. Its your inferiority complex!!! and majority think that getting naked is more civilized.

    Nobel Peace Laureate Tawakkul Kamran

When asked about her hijab by journalists and how it is not proportionate with her level of intellect and education, she replied,

“Man in early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times.”

I am glad at least you acknowledged the significance of Nobel Prize. An apex prize offered in a developed country where women choose the way they dress, unlike Yemen (an undeveloped country), where women are expected/enforced the way to dress.

    Wasalaam.

Just because Tawakkul said it doesn’t make it a universal truth. I think some might disagree with her on that. For one, she considers 5th century A.D. intellect to be the epitome of civilization. I dont know how she could come up with such a statement. Would you/she argue that how wrapping yourself in a cloth represents the pinnacle of thought? I would consider it the highest level of civilization when you see a naked girl/boy and absolutely not feel any carnal temptations. However, there should still be freedom of choice.

    what does that imply????

the most civilized country has the most number of rapes and crime. Yes I am talking about United States of America.

There is nothing wrong in accepting what is right. Just because our ego doesn’t allow us to accept or we don’t like it personally is not an argument to debate about.

This fashion show representing which culture??? Pakistani culture?? I always wonder that how many of paki women will follow these cuts and designs??? Only may b 0.002 % or may be more less..Is it good idea to waste so many resources for such insignificant number???

Here in PAK most of ppl don’t have enough money to feed there families rather bought new dresses even for EID….then cant our society do some useful work rather to generate so much elite fashion designer whom are now jumping in each related field to fashionized it (for example so much designer lawn adds on TV in this season.)

By the way we follow Islam who ordered men & women to cover their body properly and our beloved Prophet (S.A.W.) has said “Libas Ki sadgi Eman Ki Alamton Me Se 1 Alamt Hy”. …

Where are our religious clerics who easily define any one kafir on the basis of belief, justify killing of humane on the basis of sect and now getting together for the great “Difa-e-Pakistan” but can’t indicate own Pakistanis to stop follow the vulgarity on the name of globalization, business etc.

freedom to have a thought is much above then freedom to get dressed. thought process that is stimulated by the vulgarity may or may not represent a developed nation. it only represents the value it gives to body over the mind. i am sorry, but i can’t accept the gauge of development just by the freedom to get (un)dressed. i wonder how much ladies from this niche of the society add to the total value of society by just buying a few dresses of lawn in every exhibition. to add to the society we need ppl (be it men or women) who r diligent, fair, hard-working, competent and disciplined. i am sorry to feel that my fellow ppl want to have all the pleasures of developed nations just by enjoying the body display shows of semi-nude models.

So you jumped from Yemen and Sweden to United States!! Must be a ninja mullah. Well at least in United States, rape is reported. Think about countries (including our Islamic Republic) where there is no reporting. Not to mention, everyone knows what happens in seminaries.

Don’t change the topic. And I can see your hatred towards Mullahs(Islamic religious scholars). Whenever there is hatred I don’t expect any logical arguments. We are not discussing here if rapes are reported in our Islamic Republic or not. I was answering to your illogical argument comparing countries with dress codes.

Now if you think reporting solves everything sorry mam/sir this way after every act committed in Pakistan and we can report it. Oh btw RAPES are being reported a lot. Thanks to Liberalism in this country that too much rapes are increasing and finally a percentage is being reported. In USA rapes are being reported but they are not addressing the issue. The issue is increase promotion of vulgarity & nudity with the notion of freedom. No family values and morals left. Hence a society with no morals.
