How many Pakistanis can afford to purchase such ultra-expensive and gaudy jewellery in this age of sky-high gold prices?

There is something to be said about “Less is More” and simplicity and minimalism. Perhaps, that does not sit well with your target market who may be insecure and need to flaunt.Recommend

These pics make bring a few points to mind:

    1. Despite all the fundo onslaught by maulvis, etc. liberalism is still alive in Pakistan and women are still there, despite the crimes against women, attempts to make them disappear, acid throwing, karo kari, wana, etc.

    2. Pakistani women are beautiful and can dress to kill. Whether the women dress up to impress men or women beats me?

    3. Elegance eludes women in Pakistan. I am reminded of Kate and William wedding where she was only wearing a simple necklace and earrings and no bare shoulders, on Queen’s instructions, no less. Women who are insecure need to wear kilograms of jewellery to feel good about themselves. A simple and tasteful necklace would make you look elegant rather than elephant sized earrings hanging from your years (even as they probably hurt).

    4. Are bare shoulders required to prove your liberalism or sense of fashion? Showing off more and more skin is not elegant and graceful.Recommend

It is funny how most men in muslim countries are infatuated with what women wear or what women should not wear. A tribal mindset that pushes them backward into stone age everyday when they see tribune.com.pk lol

    Hilarious comment…gr8 timing ;-)

I’d love Hafez Saeed and his crowd to get to grips with these liberal folks…it’d teach them a lesson

Ali I agree with you too….maybe its time the Taliban got their act together and crash these parties ;-)
