This is good but what about the trade name “the poor man’s transport”.
The private train system is not affordable for the poor people of Pakistan – problem not solved!

At this point any little gesture is most welcome, recycle or refurbished. However, just maintain and improve. A lesson in hygiene to the passengers may serve dividends. Any system is only as good as the people who use it. If you ride this train please keep it clean. Pakistani’s love being religious well I thought religion stresses cleanliness being next to Godliness! AMF

What a sad day for country where their own assets mean trains, been sold to private company and just after coloring with different colors they all of a sudden start running – no issue with engine/ coals or worker’s strike – this is called ” paisa pahek tamasha dekh” Truly it can only in Pakistan – you did it again!

Hmm…I didn’t get the point here!!…’Private train’?!…Umm, In India, every other train looks like this from inside…In fact ‘Shataabdi’ or the ‘Rajdhani’ trains, here in India, are of much superior in quality!
BTW, is it made in china?! o_O

UK was once called the sick man of Europe. hat turned the tides was Privatisation of all national assets and services less the postal services and the present day UK is in front of us. Miss Margaret Thatcher had to stop the milk provided to the kids in school and she was called thatcher the milk snatcher bottom line is when u are at odds with economic state you have to sacrifice many things for a better future of the nation. UK has become a real welfare state now so can Pakistan we only need to believe in the system the government has corrupted so much. Only answer is the Privatisation and the tendency to corruption will die itself.

I think it’s good…railway should be partially privatize….this will not only help in eradicating corruption from the institute but will make it people’s first choice while traveling inside the country.

@Mansoor: India hasn’t privatised its railways. But they are making a massive profit and are more reliable than ours. You don’t need privatisation for success.

They should allow the poor awam who cant use PR because it does not function, travel on the roof of the “rich” peoples train. First the government wasted Hugh sums of money on the motorways that are good mostly for people who own cars. Now the government is even taking away “poor” awams one of the affordable means of transportation, the PR. Pakistan Paindabad!
BTW, look at the numbers of security guard to protect each coach that has may be 25-40 people! How many guards with guns you see on any other PR trains?

@KKN agreed but then we need honest people which unfortunately are not available in the market. By privatizing what will happen

    a. less of corruption
    b. no appointments based on likings
    c. talented and deserving people will get to the helm of affairs
    d. spirit of competition and provisioning of better services
    e, more facilitations for commuters
take the example of mobile companies each one is trying to excel by providing better and better services and getting cheaper every passing day
so let some good thing happen to pakistan

    Dear Friends:
Please do visit any time if possible any Private bank like MCB,Faysal,Allied in comparison with National Bank.
Please do visit TCS,OCS or Leopard Couriers in comparison with Pakistan Post Office.
Please you can visit any Government Office in comparison with any Private Office,The way Officers coordinate in Private sector and Government Offices,Facilities in Private Sector and Government
sector, you can observe the difference,Privatisation ultimately profit Government.

Can Any one answer why there is no corruption in Daewoo Express? Why no Corruption in any Private office because there is a good management.

Our bad Luck is that every young, energetic boy join Civil Services Academy to serve Pakistan honestly but the system do not allow him to carry on like that.
